좋아은경(김은경)

와이어아티스트. 일상 속에서 쓸모를 다하고 버려진 철사를 수집하여 작업한다.
세계 곳곳을 다니며 작품과 '철사로 작은 새 만들기' 워크샵을 통해 재료 선택과 최소화의 중요성, 재활용, 해체와 재구성, 사물을 다르게 보는 법을 이야기하고 레이첼 카슨과 그의 유산을 전하고 있다.

yoa Eunkyung K is working with abandoned wires to create pieces and also runs workshops on wire sculpture.
The work is related to the legacy of Rachel Carson and social/environmental issues such as recycling, waste minimization, ecology, sustainability.
The workshop is designed to promote the reusing of materials minimize the amount of waste, raise awareness about environmental issues and increase appreciation of sustainable living.

Yoa Eunkyung K est une artiste Coréenne, elle travaille avec des fils de fer usagers, recyclés, sortis de leur usage quotidien, tel le fil entourant le paquet de pain ou encore les spirales d’un cahier, pour créer des sculptures uniques. Son travail s’articule autour des questions sociales / environnementales telles que le recyclage, la réduction des déchets, l'écologie. Elle s’inspire directement du travail de Rachel Carson et de son livre «Printemps Silencieux (Silent Spring)» ou comment dans un futur proche et fortement pollué, le printemps reviendra comme tous les ans sans aucun oiseau pour le chanter. Ce livre alertait à propos de l’usage disproportionné de pesticides et produits chimiques toxiques qui détruisent le délicat équilibre de la nature.
Depuis ses expositions dans les galeries et pour transmettre son art, Yoa organise également des workshops. Ces atetliers de sculpture sur fil de fer sont conçus pour favoriser la réutilisation des matériaux, minimiser la quantité de déchets, sensibiliser sur les questions environnementales et le développement durable.
